I Can compare this book to the move to Blood Diamond because there are diamond. In blood diamond they have to find the diamond's to get the man out of Africa. In Skeleton coast they have to get the diamond to keep the stoke mark steady. A nether thing that mack the book like move is there is a lot of gun fight. In the move the big action  bit in the move is when the rebel tack  over the city.

this book is about a team of Spy's. The boss of the team is Juan Cadrillo. They gust got a way from being offer run by rebels in the Congo river.On the way to back South Africa they save a raft from mercenaries. On the raft there was Sloane Macintyr. She works for a company that finds react ship's. Slonen was looking for the HMS Rove. She is looking for the Ship because in 1896 four Englishmen raced across the Merciless Kalahari desert  curring a fortune in raw diamonds  but they went missing.

This book takes place in Africa.  The beginning of the book it takes place in Congo River most of the rest of the book take place in Namibia in a place called  the Skeleton coast. The Skeleton coast is on the southwest side of Africa a place where many ships were ship wrecked. There is one chapter that takes place in Switzerland where a scientist Geoffrey Merrick is kidnapped from. He was taken to an old German jail base in the Kalahari desert called the Devil Oasis. The story describes the heat and discomfort that people come across in Africa. There are scenes that take place on oil rigs off the coast of Namibia. It is brutal and rough. The fact that it all takes place in Africa makes it exciting and different there is a lot of unknown in africa. The scenes that take place in the ocean make you realize how unpredictable it is. it all makes the book more exciting.

I think this book is very interesting. This book is action filled.It is all very detailed. In the very beginning there is some fighting. The fighting is in the Congo river where the Congolese army of Revolution (CRA)and Caption Cabrillo crew have a gun fight. Lincoln's Crew is secretly funded by the CIA, FBI and the US military. They are a group of ex us special Ops who are sent to get rid of the CRA. They are selling the CRA weapons which can be tracked so they can find them and eliminate them. I would recommend this book to people who like action filled books. It is a very exciting book. This book is very similar to the movie Traitor because people seem to be working for the"bad" guys but they are really working for the "good' Guys. I really enjoyed this book.
